A unique experience
I had the most incredible time at a lodge surrounded by the coastal rainforest. The wooden rooms were cozy and elevated, allowing wildlife to come right up to us. The lodge offered amazing guided tours where I saw a wide variety of birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects. The food was above average, although there could have been more variety.

We had the most incredible experience during our stay at Evergreen Lodge. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by lush jungle and stunning wildlife. The rooms may have been basic, but they were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The highlight of our stay was the turtle tour organized by Heidi, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, even extending our time to witness a turtle nesting. The pool was a refreshing oasis, and the food, though simple, was well-prepared and satisfying. The boat trips on the river and canals were a true adventure, allowing us to see a diverse range of wildlife. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of amenities in the room and limited communication from the staff, we highly recommend staying at Evergreen Lodge for an authentic jungle experience. we had an unforgettable time and would gladly return in the future.

The pool is amazing, the facilities are excellent, and the onsite breakfast and restaurant were a big plus. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of this lodge is truly remarkable, nestled deep in the heart of the jungle. Surrounding the lodge are stunning canals, where you can take a boat tour and witness a multitude of wildlife, from monkeys to alligators. The individual bungalows are clean and comfortable, and despite the lack of air conditioning, we found ourselves cozy and even needed extra blankets at night. The pool area is also a great place to relax after a day of exploring, with a full-service bar to quench your thirst.
The buffet-style breakfast can be a bit chaotic, with certain items running out quickly and slow replenishment.

The value for money was great, with a large room and kitchen, and a balcony with rocking chairs and a fantastic view. The location of the hotel was perfect, surrounded by the rainforest and with amazing wildlife sightings. The staff treated us exceptionally well, even packing a lunch bag for our departure.
The breakfast menu could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The lodge is a paradise for nature lovers. I had a private encounter with the exotic flora and fauna. The buffet-style meals were divine.
I just loved having gauze windows in my room. Who needs a view when you can feel like you're sleeping in a mosquito cage?
